The 48 Hour Film Project is the largest and oldest timed filmmaking competition in the world.  Starting in 2001, the 48HFP has challenged filmmakers on every continent to make a film in 48 hours.

To date, more than 50,000 short films have been created, and the 48HFP has helped launch the careers for many of our participants.

The High School 48 is designed for the next generation of filmmakers and storytellers.  By providing education and information, the 48HFP seeks to inspire new talent.
